‘Jeanne Du Barry’ Starring Johnny Depp Hits VOD May 21

“Jeanne Du Barry,” an epic period drama headlined by Maïwenn and Johnny Depp, will be available on all On Demand Platforms starting May 21. Details on the movie, as well as my review, are featured in the post.

The narrative centers on Jeanne Vaubernier (Maïwenn), a working class woman who climbs up the social ranks when she catches the eye of King Louis XV (Johnny Depp). Running at 116 minutes, “Jeanne Du Barry” is a visually lush epic that captures Jeanne’s life at the Palace of Versailles.

Maïwenn also co-wrote and directed “Jeanne Du Barry.”
