Hosted by Nicole Kidman and Nadia Comaneci, the 7th Annual Gold Meets Golden Event had various stars and athletes come together to help raise funds and awareness for Angel City Sports. Cynthia Erivo (Harriet) was on hand to perform John Lennon’s “Imagine” at the event.

The Gold Meets Golden event also featured an appearance from The X-Factor’s Emmanuel Kelly who performed Chris Martin’s new song “Never Alone” (the Coldplay performer was also on hand to introduce Kelly). Wheelchair Dance Troupe The Rollettes joined Kelly, whose brother is a record-holder Paralympic swimmer for Australia, with a choreographed routine.
Chris Evans, Naomi Watts, Rami Malek, Taron Egerton, Beanie Feldstein, Greg Louganis, Kristi Yamaguchi, Apolo Ohno were among the celebrities and athletes who attended the event which was held at the Virginia Robinsons Gardens & Estate in Beverly Hills.
Angel City Sports is a Los Angeles organization that provides young athletes with disabilities with the resources, coaching and equipment to train as Paralympic hopefuls. Gold Meets Golden 2020 was presented by The Coca-Cola Company, the longest continuous partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Attendees of Gold Meets Golden left with a Gold-Medal Rolling Gift Bag from the Mr. Morris Foundation that was valued at over 10,000. Items included:
