Flick City: Lauren Ash And Mark McKinney Discuss Their Favorite Films

During a recent interview with Superstore actors Lauren Ash and Mark McKinney, I asked them to name their favorite films. Ash picked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and McKinney chose the French comedy La Cage Aux Folles (later remade as the Robin Williams and Nathan Lane feature The Birdcage). Check out the video below!

In the video Lauren Ash talks about being star struck over Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind actor Jim Carrey (she met him and Dumb and Dumber co-star Jeff Daniels a year ago) and explained why comedy isn’t her number one choice when it comes to rewatching movies.

Madeline Kahn’s performance in Clue was also a driving influence for Ash as a youth.

Mark McKinney chose La Cage Aux Folles, feature that is headlined by Michel Serrault. Having recently seen The Birdcage, I’m eager to compare that Mike Nichols directed feature to the 1978 feature.

Here’s the Lauren Ash and Mark McKinney Video:

Are you a fan of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or La Cage Aux Folles? Also, if you want to check out more info on The Birdcage, check out the follow episode from Matt and Greg Used To Interview Movie Stars!
