Count me in for Interceptor, an action feature headlined by Elsa Pataky (Fast Five, Snakes on a Plane) as Captain JJ Collins, an officer who may be the only hope in stopping a deadly attack. Details on the Netflix feature, direced by first time filmmaker Matthew Reilly, is below!

Captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) did not land her Pentagon dream job, and now she is in charge of a lone nuclear missile interceptor out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Her dead end job turns high stakes when she encounters Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a former US military intelligence officer with designs on nuclear destruction.

With just minutes on the clock, Collins must utilize her training to stop Kessel and his fellow mercenaries from succeeding in their nightmarish mission.

Director Matthew Reilly co-wrote the feature with Stuart Beattie, an A-list writer whose credits include Collateral, Australia, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and the underrated Danger Close (which starred Bracey). Pataky’s husband Chris Hemsworth is one of the feature’s producers. As a novelist, Reilly penned Ice Station and The Secret Runners.

My favorite line from the trailer has to be “Did you just stab that dude in the eye with your gun?” Looking forward to seeing how that scene playes out!!
