Daisy Ridley Is Glad The Gang’s Back Together With ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’

The debate will forever rage on regarding The Last Jedi, but whether or not you love or disliked the feature, one fact is true: Rey, Poe Dameron, and Finn didn’t spend much quality time together. During the world premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Daisy Ridley discussed why having the gang back together was needed.

Whether Rey is a true “Skywalker” or ultimately surrenders to the dark side of The Force is the biggest question to answer regarding Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. That said, having The Force Awakens band back together was also a big deal for Daisy Ridley.

“For us, it was really important – me, John and Oscar – that we were together on this journey, said Ridley. “I just feel like you feel that. So you just want to be part of the gang and I think with Star Wars you always have. Whatever side it is, you want to be part of it and the way you’re written you really feel a part of it as an audience member.”
