Brian De Palma’s ‘Body Double’ Lands Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Release In September

Brian De Palma fans (myself included) should rejoice, as a “Body Double” 4K Ultra HD Disc Steeelbook comes out September 24th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The 4K Ultra HD Disc is presented in 4K resolution with Dolby Vision. The feature will be presented in English Dolby Atmos, English 5.1, and English 2-Channel Surround. The release celebrates lthe 40th anniversary of one of De Palma’s most controversial movies. Special features info is below.

***One of the movie’s more underrated elements is Pino Donaggio’s “Body Double” score.

The “Body Double” Blu-ray is presented in high definition and is sourced from the 4K master (English 5.1 + English 2-Channel Surround). Special features include archival interviews with Brian De Palma and “Body Double” actors Craig Wasson and Melanie Griffith. The Frankie Goes To Hollywood “Relax” music video (“Body Double”) version is also part of the extras.

Still Gallery, theatrical trailer and four featurettes (“The Seduction,” “The Setup,” The Mystery,” and “The Controvesy”) round out the special features.
