Box Office Smash ‘Ne Zha II’ Starring Michelle Yeoh Hits U.S. Theaters August 22

Directed by Jiao Zi, Ne Zha II centers on Zha, a young boy who is born to mortal parents but is blessed with unimaginable power. Feared by the gods, he must use his talents and take on an ancient force bent on eradicating humanity!

“I’m honored to be part of Ne Zha 2, a landmark in Chinese animation and a powerful reminder of how universal our stories can be,” said Yeoh in a statement. “Sharing this with audiences in English is such a joy, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience the wonder, heart, spectacular artistry, and magic of this film on the big screen.”

The movie is a sequel to the 2019 Chinese film Ne Zha which grossed $726 million worldwide.
