Dishing out swear words is not my forte, but thankfully Shithouse is, for lack of a better word, the f**king s**t. It’s an eye-opening and audacious debut from writer/director Cooper Raiff that is filled with realized performances. Whether or not you love the moniker, peel an extra layer and you are in for one of a kind storytelling.
Thanks to Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, I am giving away one copy of ‘Focus Features: 10-Movie Spotlight Collection’ on Blu-ray. The set also comes with a digital code. Entry details featured in our post!
Possessor Uncut, directed by Brandon Cronenberg, is a film that will assuredly frustrate some and repel others. But, for those who cut their film teeth on David Cronenberg’s early works, such as Scanners, Rabid, and Videodrome, Possessor Uncut might be exactly what they are looking for. Before continuing, it must be noted that Brandon Cronenberg isn’t just copying his father’s style, Brandon has his own unique approach, an approach that contains a sort of visceral strangeness.
