Aubrey Nicole heads into The Voice Playoffs as one of the four remaining artists on Team Reba. Nicole received Reba McEntire’s support starting with her Blinds performance of “Burning House.” During Battles she received a save from McEntire and she gained further momentum during her Knockouts performance of “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” Nicole talked to Deepest Dream about why The Voice has been a gratifying experience all across the board.
Now playing in theaters, You Got Gold: A Celebration of John Prine is a documentary that spotlights a star-studded tribute of the late artist. The event took place October 2022 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and producer Fiona Whelan Prine talked about the documentary and how director Michael John Warren was able to capture the “incredible intimacy” of the concert.

The holiday romance Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring, starring Jana Kramer and Benjamin Hollingsworth, hits DVD December 9th via Pinnacle Peak Pictures and Alliance Home Entertainment. Currently at 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, the feature also hits Digital on November 28th.

The Voice artist Peyton Kyle wowed Reba McEntire during the Blinds and she turned her chair for the Gainesville, Georgia resident. Kyle advanced through the Battles and tonight he faces Austin Gilbert on the Knockouts. In Your Dreams is a resonant and visually rich animated feature about Stevie (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport) and her younger brother Elliot (Elias Janssen). Stevie sees her sibling as a nuisance and is also distressed over her parents’ (Simu Liu, Cristin Milioti) fracturing relationship. When the Sandman (Omid Djalili) enters their lives to offer a perfect family, their lives take an understandably intense turn. Filmmaker Alex Woo talked to Deepest Dream why he wanted to shed a different light on how we view our dreams and nightmares.
Stephen Shimek returns to the murder-mystery genre with another Miranda Green installment. Shimek’s foray into the series started with 2023’s Invitation to a Murder (with Mischa Barton as the book smart sleuth Green) and now the pair reunite with Murder at the Embassy. Kaanthais an epic Indian film that centers on visionary director Ayya (Samuthirakani) intense clash with lead actor T.K. Mahadevan (Dulquer Salmaan). Bhagyashri Borse co-stars as Kumari, the lead actress who is torn between these ego-driven artists. Filmmaker Selvamani Selvaraj talked to Deepest Dream about his intricate filmmaking process behind Kaantha. During the interview, Selvaraj reflects on why filmmaking, for him, is a spiritual process.
Mido Hamada stars in the new mystery Murder At The Embassy. The feature, a sequel to Invitation to a Murder, feature Mischa Barton as talented sleuth Miranda Green. Hamada plays Mamoud, the head of security at Cairo’s British Embassy. Set in the 1930s and directed by Stephen Shimek, the feature contains several eye catching visual sequences. Hamada talked to Deepest Dream about the movie’s most impressive sequence which was shot in The Giza Plateau.

During the Blinds and Battles of The Voice, Jack Austin made it perfectly clear that he loves his hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan. Musical theater is a huge passion for Austin, but his journey on The Voice also helped him expand his creative horizons. He talked to Deepest Dream about what he learned from the show and elaborated why he feels very “ready” to grow and flourish as an artist.

Trinity made it through the Blinds with a four-chair turn on The Voice, and she picked Michael Bublé as her coach. Although she lost her Battle to Jazz McKenzie during their stellar work on “Virtual Insanity,” she was saved by Bublé. She takes on Jack Austin tonight on the Knockouts!
