‘America’s Got Talent’ Sings Its Way To New Heights On Season 11

Fifty-six-year-old TV icon Simon Cowell and his rapier wit (I don’t know if  it’s really “rapier,” but I just wanted to use the word) are back stateside with season 11 of America’s Got Talent. Though Howard Stern will be missed, Cowell, who created AGT back in 2006, should bring a different element to the show.

“Beyond singing, Simon as the boss of the show, as the creator of the show, the creator of many other formats – he is truly a star maker,” said AGT stalwart Howie Mandel. “I feel that beyond the winner of this season, you’re going to see at least a handful of international stars that are going to be household names.”

In the video below, Mandel and Heidi Klum (Me B is also featured in the vid) explain how Simon Cowell is impacting this season of America’s Got Talent:

AGT, hosted by Nick Cannon, premieres tonight on NBC (8 pm et/pt).
