Alma Jodorowsky Headlined ‘Le Choc Du Futur’ Hits DVD In November

French film, which premiered at the 2020 SXSW Festival, is inspired by the female pioneers in electronic music.

I’m a sucker for audio driven narratives, and Le Choc Du Futur (The Shock Of The Future) might satiate that cinematic fix. Cleopatra Entertainment is releasing the electronic music drama on DVD come November 10!

Set in Paris, Le Choc du Futur centers on Ana (Alma Jodorowsky, granddaughter of filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky), a composer who is trying to create new sounds that will resonate for generations to come. The time is 1978, and in a male dominated world, Ana’s prospects in the electronic music field appear dim. Directed by Marc Collin, the feature premiered at the 2020 SXSW Film Festival.

The DVD, which is now available for pre-order, includes an exclusive interview with Collin, a slide show, and more bonus features. Check out the trailer and tell us if you’re interested in this feature!
