Alice Braga Discusses Dreams of Working In Mexico And Chile

Now in its third season, Queen of the South is set in different parts around the world thanks to Teresa Mendoza’s (Alice Braga) dangerous drug running business. In real life, Braga is a world traveler, and in the video below she talks about her own artistic ambitions.

I go back and forth. I have a production company in Brazil called Los Bragas. I’m producing two Netflix shows there and supporting young artists in Brazil as well to keep doing more films and developing projects for myself to do there. But also here I live in LA. So I kind of split my time between the U.S. and Brazil. Because I still love working in Latin America. My dream is to work in Mexico or Chile. Argentina makes amazing films so I’m just trying to keep (myself) inspired by art no matter where it is.”

Queen of the South airs Thursday evenings on USA Network (9 pm et/pt).
