On the heels of their recently released eighth album Holy Hell, metalcore band Architects embark on their first North American tour beginning April 26 at Anaheim, California’s House of Blues.

After the passing of Holly Hell co-founder Tom Searle in 2016 from cancer, it would be understandable if Architects took an extended period time away from music. The group, which consists of Tom’s twin brother Dan Searle on drums, bassist Ali Dean, guitarists Josh Middleton and Adam Christianson, bassist Ali Dean, and vocalist Sam Carter, released Holy Hell in November to critical acclaim. The album, a melange of hard driving rock, pinpoint singing from Carter, and insightful lyrics, was named by Kerrang as one of 2018’s best albums. I absolutely love the album, and currently my top pick from the first rate effort is “Royal Beggars.”
