If you love the Tom Cruise/Emily Blunt feature Edge of Tomorrow, then All You Need Is Kill might be your cup of team. Both films are based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s novel All You Need Is Kill. CinemAddicts co-host Bruce Purkey said in his review that one need not to worry; both films are “different” enough to be enjoyed individually.
All You Need Is Kill centers on Rita, a young woman who is volunteering to rebuild Japan after the destruction caused by the alien flower known as Darol.

Rita is caught in a time loop where she is resurrected every time she is killed. She meets Keiji (Natsuki Hanae), another person who is in the same circumstance, and they team up and attempt to break this cycle of chaos.
