Eddington centers on a small town mayor (Pedro Pascal) who does not see eye to eye with the local sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix). Set in May 2020, the movie tackles social issues of that time. According to reviewer Eric Holmes, the entire film was much ado about nothing. Check his review below!

Director Ari Aster received divisive reactions for Beau Is Afraid and that also applies to Eddington. A satire set during the Pandemic is sure to deliver varied reactions from cinephiles. Simply put, CinemAddicts co-host Eric Holmes stated that he did not like Eddington. “Much like Beau Is Afraid, Eddington just goes all over the place,” said Holmes. “It’s hard to focus a review on this when the movie is not focused. It is just throwing everything on the wall and seeing what sticks.”
