Elizabeth Hurley stars as Queen Helena, the ruler of the roost in The Royals, a scripted E! series which premieres tonight (10 pm pt/et). Relative newbie Alexandra Park plays Helena’s rebellious and fun-loving daughter Eleanor.

Created by “One Tree Hill” producer Mark Schwahn, “The Royals'” own homage to primetime soaps of yesteryears is lovingly evident with its guest casting of Joan Collins (“Dynasty”) as the Grand Duchess of Oxford.
Hurley, who had a successful run on television with a recurring role on “Gossip Girl,” is also a veteran film producer and actress. Such knowledge and experience proved invaluable to Alexandra Park, and in the video below she talked about the joys of having Hurley as a mentor.
