The six-part limited series The Garden: Commune or Cult centers on a community that lives off the grid. A film crew has received access to give viewers a bird’s eye look at life on The Garden, and the series centers on several newcomers who have ten days to prove their worth to the community. Tisheila Early, a survivalist truck driver, talked to Deepest Dream about her experiences at The Garden.

During the interview, Tisheila Early talks about how being a truck driver helped prepare her for The Garden. Whether or not she is a permanent member of The Garden will be revealed during the series. That said, Early had positive things to say about her experience.

“I learned a lot of skills that I hadn’t already known,” said Early. “I was really encouraged to just be me. The free spirit that I am that was an enjoyable experience. To me, I’m on the right path of me being me and there are other people out here that believe in free spirited and they are okay with that. And that’s a beautiful thing.”
