Danny Trejo (Machete, From Dusk till Dawn) and Nick Chinlund (The Chronicles of Riddick) previously worked together in Con Air, and now they are reunited with The Prey: Legend of Karnoctucs. The action feature, which is getting great audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, hits Digital platforms on July 7. It’s currently available on Cable VOD.

Set in the Afghanistan desert, a group of mercenaries are searching for treasure, only to be trapped in a cave with retreating U.S. soldiers. Although they are being hunted by Taliban, they have a much bigger enemy in the form of a beast named Karnoctus. Directed by Eric Hensman, The Prey: Legend of Karnoctus is a “homage to the action-adventure and monster flicks of the 1980s.” Highlander: The Series star Adrian Paul and Underworld co-creator Kevin Grevioux are also part of the ensemble.
