Though Kathy Griffin announced last week that she was leaving E!’s Fashion Police, she isn’t exactly sitting at home and lounging on her sofa. The show must go on, and she performed March 15 at the Borgata Event Center.

Griffin’s connection with the venue isn’t a new one, as she shot her 2011 special “Tired Hooker” at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.
Along with Griffin, Sarah McLachlan performed the previous evening at the Event Center, with Nick Cannon (“America’s Got Talent”) DJ-ing and Amber Rose hosting at mur.mur Saturday evening.
I’ve always been a fan of Griffin’s straight ahead and no holds barred humor, and hearing her dish out such lines as “Now you know this isn’t the Sarah McLachlan concert!” or talk about Fashion Police (“Did you know this was the night after the s**t was gonna go down?”) would have been worth a trip to Borgata.
