Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Origins will have a free weekend June 19-21 on Uplay. Gamers can pre-load Assassin’s Creed Origins starting today! As I have logged over 190 hours on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, I am very interested to see what the previous installment has to offer.

Set in Ancient Egypt, Assassin’s Creed Origins centers on Bayek, a protector of Egypt who is one of the very first Assassins. Amidst this open world, players will learn the secrets of the Great Pyramids, forgotten myths, and the secrets behind the creation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood.

For years I actually avoided the Assassin’s Creed franchise as I simply thought it was a stealth based game. When a fellow gamer pointed out that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a first rate RPG title at heart, I immediately purchased it on Xbox One. Almost two years later, I’m still playing the game (and will probably try out Origins this weekend!).

Players have access to the full main game content of Assassin’s Creed Origins through the weekend, and for more info on this free weekend go here.

The free weekend of Assassin’s Creed Origins starts June 19, 3 pm CEST and ends on June 21, 10 pm CEST.
