Arnold Schwarzenegger Pleased With “Extraordinary” Terminator Genisys

Now playing nationwide, Terminator Genisys has Arnold Schwarzenegger taking on his most popular role, and this time the Terminator is a protector of Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke). Jai Courtney co-stars as Sgt. Kyle Reese, the future dad of John Connor (Jason Clarke).

For Schwarzenegger, the outcome of Terminator Genisys, which is directed by Alan Taylor, was a good one:

“After the original Terminator came out, Jim Cameron outdid himself with the sequel – it became the highest grossing movie of the year when it came out. . . Since then we have been trying to outdo that, not always successfully but that was always the attempt. This time, I think, Alan Taylor and the writers and the producers have done an extraordinary job to really live up to that standard of Terminator 2 again.”
