Anne Hathaway And Rebel Wilson Comedy ‘The Hustle’ Hits Blu-ray In August

The Hustle starring Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson hits Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand come August 20 via Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures (MGM) and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. The feature also hits Digital on August 6.

The plot centers on a Brit named Josephine Chesterfield (Anne Hathaway) who becomes a mentor to fellow con artist Penny (Rebel Wilson). The pair eventually team up (and possibly compete against one another) as they try to swindle a tech billionaire (Alex Sharp).



Directed by Chris Addison (Veep), the picture is a remake of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which in turn was a remake of Bedtime Story. The Hustle made over $87 million worldwide.

Bonus features on both the Blu-ray and DVD versions include:
  1. “Hitting The Mark” – The featurette focuses on Anne Hathaway’s discussions with writer Jac Schaeffer and producer Rebel Wilson about updating the story. Also included is details on Chris Addison’s collaboration with the cast and crew on set.
  2. “Comedy Class” – Segment takes a look at the different comedic styles of each of the actors inthe film.
  3. “Con Artists” – Interviews with costume designer Emmer Fryer ander production designer Alice Normington.
