Aubrey Nicole heads into The Voice Playoffs as one of the four remaining artists on Team Reba. Nicole received Reba McEntire’s support starting with her Blinds performance of “Burning House.” During Battles she received a save from McEntire and she gained further momentum during her Knockouts performance of “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” Nicole talked to Deepest Dream about why The Voice has been a gratifying experience all across the board.

“I want to share my heart with people,” said Aubrey Nicole, who is currently a 20-year-old college student at Belmont University. During Knockouts, Nicole dedicated Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” to her father. Thankfully The Voice released the full version of her “Burning House” Blinds performance, and both of these rounds showcased Nicole’s powerful voice and passion for storytelling.
With her Battles duet with Cori Kennedy on the uptempo “Something Bad,” Nicole believed Kennedy rightfully won that round. Snoop Dogg, who has been a fan of Nicole since the beginning, threw in for a steal but Reba kept Nicole on her team with a Save.
Check out Aubrey Nicole’s stirring rendition of “Burning House.” It’s a surprise that McEntire was the only chair turn for that performance! No worries, as she’s in the Playoffs!
