Will Smith On “Focus” – “I’ve Always Been A Jokester”

Double-cross, manipulations, twists and turns, and snap, crackle and pop dialogue are among the trademarks in Will Smith’s latest venture Focus. Master thief Nicky Spurgeon (Smith) may have the world on a string, that is until seductive (and whip smart) con artist Jess Barrett (Margot Robbie) walks into his life. Rodrigo Santoro and Gerald McRaney co-star.

Although Focus’ narrative has its share of sleight of hand tactics, its seductive allure isn’t just all about flash: the story originates from the minds of Crazy, Stupid, Love writer-directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.

During the Focus press conference, Will Smith admitted that during his childhood he was a bit of a jokester:

Focus is now playing nationwide.
