Tristan McIntosh Sees ‘American Idol’ Journey As A “Huge Success”

Although Nashville singer Tristan McIntosh was eliminated last night on American Idol, her journey on the show was a hands down success story. Just 15, McIntosh was able to grow as an artist during her AI experience and also showcase her talents to millions of viewers.

“Honestly, just getting this far has been a huge success for me,” said the Nashville School of the Arts student. “It’s given me exposure and there are so many people that support me now. It’s amazing.”

The singer also discussed how she grew as an artist on the show. “In the very beginning, I thought I would be kind of slow and be standing there the whole time,” said McIntosh. “And now I feel I’ve definitely progressed. Not just as a singer or an artist, but as a performer.”
