The Hunger Games filmmaker Francis Lawrence teams with Jason Momoa for the upcoming Netflix fantasy adventure Slumberland. The feature’s teaser trailer was released today. Check it out and share your thoughts in the comments!
Penned by David Guion and Michael Handelman, Slumberland centers on Nemo (Marlow Barkley), a precocious youth who travels through a dreamword in search of her father Peter (Kyle Chandler). Peter is lost at sea, and Nemo’s halcyon Pacific Northwest life is altered since she is now living in the city with her uncle (Chris O’Dowd).
School has its own challenges by day, but at night a secret map connects her to Slumberland and a lovable outlaw named Flip (Jason Momoa). Through their travels, Nemo dreams of being reunited with her father.
