Ruby Rose Praises Keanu Reeves’ Work Ethic On ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’

Although John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a one man wrecking crew, he may have met his match with Ares (Ruby Rose), his top adversary in John Wick: Chapter 2. To hear Rose talk about working on the film and collaborating with Keanu Reeves, check out the audio below!!

Ruby Rose, whose previous work includes Orange is the New Black and more recently xXx: Return of Xander Cage, is the leader of the group of assassins and mercenaries who are on the hunt for John Wick. Ares, according to Rose, is just as dangerous as Wick.

“The whole idea is that, if he’s a 007, I’m a 008,” says Rose. “We’re on par with each other as far as our skills go and our fighting techniques. I’m always supposed to be a step ahead of me and he’s a step ahead of me. There’s a real competition there – I’m a real liability to John Wick’s life.”

John Wick: Chapter 2 opens Friday, February 10, 2017.
