Patricia DiSalvo Viayra has spearheaded the Lady Filmmakers Film Festival, and now she is expanding that community with the debut of the Lady Filmmakers Channel. Viayra talked to Deepest Dream about today’s Virtual red carpet event and what subscribers will get from the service.

The Lady Filmmakers Channel launches today with over 150 projects that include full length narrative, documentary, shorts, and animated features. The service will focus on “films with women in key roles such as writer, director, producer, cinematographer, production desuger and editor.”

Concetta Tomei, Irma P. Hall, Glenn Close, Joanna Cassidy, Julie Cobb, Concetta Tomei and James Cromwell are just a few of the talents featured on the channel. Monthly moderated panels, workshops and events will also be available to subscribers. Viewers can watch online or utilize Roku, Firestick, Apple TV and Android devices via the Film Festival Flix App.
