‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Carves Blu-ray & DVD Path in September

One of this year’s finest films, Mad Max: Fury Roadhits Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and DVD September 1 via Warner Bros Home Entertainment.

This time out, Tom Hardy takes over for Mel Gibson as the titular character, a “road warrior”who travels across the Wasteland with a group of determined women (led by Charlize Theron as “Imperator Furiosa) to find a promised land which is supposedly filled with the world’s most in-demand resource: water. The picture, which features Mad Max franchise creator George Miller as the director, also stars Nicholas Hoult (X-Men Days of Future Past), Zoë Kravitz (Divergent), Riley Keough (Magic Mike), and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (Transformers: Dark of the Moon).

Special Features on all of the versions include:

1. Five featurettes (Maximum Fury: Filming Fury RoadMad Max: Fury on Four WheelsThe Road Warriors: Max and FuriosaThe Tools of the WastelandThe Five Wives: So Shiny, So Chrome, and Fury Road: Crash & Smash).

2.  Deleted Scenes

For cinematic completists, Mad Max 4-Film Blu-ray Anthology  will also be released on September 1 through Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. Along with Fury Roadthe set comes with Mad Max (1979), The Road Warrior, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985). The documentary Madness of Maxas well as “Mad Max Anthology” trading cards will also come with the set (which is priced at $89.98).
