Kathryn Bernardo relates to the journey of the “Hello, Love, Again” characters. “Joy and Ethan are both hard working people,” said Bernardo. “Just like how we are built as Filipinos. We work just as much as we could just to provide for our family. (And the movie) talks about dreams as well. It talks about wanting more and the joy in finding home. So I think that is what makes the material so special.”

“Hello, Love, Again” is not just a straight ahead romantic drama as it also spotlights what many Filipinos experience. “This is a showcase of our culture and something we are very proud of,” added Richards. “Filipino core values are being showcased in this film. Our love for family (and) our love for other people as well. It shows the warmth we have for other people and I think it’s high time that Asian content must be recognized at this time. We are very proud and very glad that the film is performing well here in the United States and all over the world. We couldn’t be more grateful.”
