What student wouldn’t want a shot at Harvard? In The Kissing Booth 2, Elle Evans’ (Joey King) boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi) is off to Harvard and she is back to high school for her senior year. Although she has her best buddy Lee (Joel Courtney) for support, she obviously misses her boyfriend who is actually getting closer to a college girl (Maisie Richardson-Sellers).
Complicating matters for Elle is a dreamy new classmate named Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez), a guy she described as a “snack” to her friends (which Marco overheard). Will Elle be accepted to colleage and reignite her relationship with Noah, or has she found a new situation with Marco?
Joey King received a Golden Globe nod for the acclaimed Hulu series The Act, and starring in escapist fare such as The Kissing Booth 2 is a great change of pace for the talented actress (she was excellent in the underrated Zach Braff directed feature Wish I Was Here).
The Kissing Booth 2, directed and penned by Vince Marcello (he also directed The Kissing Booth), is based on Beth Reekles’ The Kissing Booth novels. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
