Time and weather will not ravage the continuing power of Downton Abbey. Fans will be pleased to hear that Downton Abbey: A New Era’s official trailer has been released. Trailer, poster and images are featured in our post!
Downtown Abbey: A New Era, penned by award-winning creator Julian Fellowes, features the beloved cast traveling to the South of France to uncover the mystery behind Dowager Countess’ (Maggie Smith) newly inherited villa. Simon Curtis (The Art of Racing in the Rain) directs the well known ensemble which includes Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Imelda Staunton and Penelope Wilton. Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West are among the new cast members.
For some odd reason, I still have not seen one single minute of the series or the movie. As a fan of period dramas as well as Downton Abbey’s score, that problem will be solved sonner than later! Would love to hear your thoughts on Downton Abbey: A New Era and its just released official trailer!
