Are you in the mood for an R-rated comedy in the vein of American Pie? That is how CinemAddicts podcasat host Eric Holmes describes The Re-Education of Molly Singer which is now in theaters, Digital and On Demand. Holmes interviewed Andy Palmer, a director who I previously chatted with on Camp Cold Brook. In the interview, Palmer breaks down how his extensive work as an editor has shaped his filmmaking craft.
The Re-Education of Molly Singer centers on Molly (Britt Robertson), an attorney who is going to be fired by her boss Brenda (Jaime Pressly). To save her job, Molly agrees to re-enroll at her alma mater to teach Brenda’s son Elliot (Ty Simpkins) to be the life of the party. Nico Santos is Molly’s best friend who helps her hopefully succeed in the new mission. Rated R, the movie runs at 120 minutes.
