Directed and produced by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, Folktalescenters on teenagers who undergo a different sort of education at a traditional folk high school in Arctic Norway. Learning about sled dogs and self-reliance is not mastered overnight, and this documentary focuses on the teens’ growth throughout the process. CinemAddicts co-host Bruce Purkey recommends the movie but he has one big gripe about Folktales.

The cast and filmmakers celebrated the world premiere of Freakier Friday Tuesday night at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theater. Repreising her Freaky Friday role over twenty years later was not a difficult task for Lindsay Lohan, and she explained why it was an easy transition during a recent interview.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, and the cast/filmmakers of Freakier Friday were at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theater Tuesday night to celebrate the film’s World Premiere. The movie is a sequel to 2003’s hit Freaky Friday, and over the 20 plus years Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan have remained friends.

Directed and co-written by R.T. Thorne (with Glenn Taylor), 40 Acres is an action-thriller that received a ton of critical praise upon its release.
