The Quiet One, a documentary that spotlights the life of The Rolling Stones founding member and bassist Bill Wyman, hits DVD October 1. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards’ lives have been well documented, and The Quiet One hopes to bring a bit more noise to Wyman’s own prodigious career.

Directed by Oliver Murray, The Quiet One has Wyman discussing his life and involvement as being a part of “the greatest rock and roll band in the world.” Previously unseen photographs, home movie and memorabilia of Wyman’s are part of the documentary, which also features interviews with Eric Clapton, Bob Geldof, engineer Glyn Johns and producer Andrew Oldham.

Bass players and their respective histories are often overshadowed, and hopefully The Quiet One sheds a bit of light on Wyman’s own relationships and passions. The trailer shows Wyman’s love for technology and being an archivist, so the feature should have a treasure trove of information.
