If you’re a comic book and Norse mythology fan (my limited knowledge goes as “deep” as Marvel Comics’ Valkyrie and Thor), then the RPG action-adventure title Fimbul may be your perfect escape. The game arrives in digital and physical versions February 28 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One (digital version only) via Wild River and Zaxis Games.
Brawlhalla, a free-to-play platform fighter from Ubisoft, is heading to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 6 via Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth Games.
To be honest, Rainbow Skies is a moniker I’ve misnamed numerous times (I originally thought it was Random Skies or Freedom Skies). Though the name doesn’t stick to my feeble brain, the actual game is a total keeper that over delivers as an immersive RPG. I’m six hours into the game, and thankfully I’ve barely scratched the surface.
One has to give props to a game that, in its press release, directly says it was “inspired by the beloved Mega Man series.” Bottom line is transparency is a good thing, and hopefully that homage leads to a deep adventure with the “roguelike action platformer” 20XX which hits XBox One July 11. Details on the title, which is now out on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC, is below!
Great news for gaming and especially diehard RPG fans as Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition will feature bonus content and also be available for the Nintendo Switch!

Chasing Carrots released their arcade style game Pressure on PC over four years ago, and now the Stuttgart based studio has come back with its higher octane and overhauled sequel Pressure Overdrive. Details on the driving/shoot’em up title is below!
I haven’t played the game on Steam, but considering the memorable moniker should be emblazoned on a shirt and the simple plotline is actually intriguing, I’m excited to catch Human: Fall Flat’s Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release this spring. Details on the game after the jump!
The world of Assassin’s Creed goes beyond the gaming experience, and Ubisoft are teaming up with several licensees at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) to showcase new publishing and merchandising items that complement this immersive (and, of course stealth based) universe.
