Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the latest installment in the Assassin’s Creed universe, comes out October 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft.  The Windows PC version is slated for a fall release.

ASSASSIN’S CREED SYNDICATE – Ubisoft

Set in London during the Industrial Revolution, the single player style title will have gamers take on the characters of twin assassins Jacob and Evie Frye. Both raised to follow the Creed’s tenets, Jacob is the temperamental leader of an underground gang while the calmer Evie is a stealth master. With their combined talents, the pair will challenge an array of enemies (including Templars) to rescue victims from poverty and corruption (hopefully regain control of London).

Within the game’s new world, players will utilize such weapons as a kukri knife, brass knuckles, a revolver and the Assassin’s gauntlet. To scale Victorian buildings, the assassins can use a rope launcher as they travel from one rooftop to the next or perform aerial killings.

“The ability to lead an underground gang, commandeer any vehicle on hand and use modern tools to take on an expansive and fast-paced Victorian London sets this game apart,” said Marc-Alexis Côté, creative director, Ubisoft. “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been in development for more than two years and this new modern take on the living open world will please Assassin’s Creed fans and newcomers alike.”
