Directed By Tim Story (Ride Along), Shaft centers on John Shaft Jr. (Jessie T. Usher), a cyber security expert and FBI analyst who tries to uncover the truth behind his best friend’s death. With the help of his tougher than nails John Shaft (Samuel L. Jackson) and equally able grandfather John Shaft Sr. (Richard Roundtree), this mission should end in a positive (and butt-kicking) fashion.

Special features on the Blu-ray include:

  1. The featurettes “Can Ya Dig It? The Making of Shaft” and “A Complicated Man: The Shaft Legacy” is broken down into three parts (“A Bad Mother Born,” “No Questions Asked,” and “A Legend of His Time”).
  2. Deleted Scenes
  3. Gag Reel

***The DVD version comes with “Can Ya Dig It? The Making of Shaft.”
