Pete Holmes stars in the holiday feel good movie “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” Based on the novel by Barbara Robinson and directed by Dallas Jenkins (“The Chosen”), the movie co-stars Judy Greer, Molly Belle Wright and Lauren Graham. Holmes talked about what makes this movie a unique moviegoing experience.
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” centers on six siblings who sneak into a church and wind up taking part in the town pageant. Grace (Judy Greer) is directing the pageant in celebration its 75th anniversary, and Pete Holmes plays her husband Bob.
Dallas Jenkins’ career has skyrocketed thanks to the massive success of “The Chosen,” and Holmes had nothing but praise for the the director. “Dallas has been wonderful,” said Holmes during production. “He’s a great leader of the crew and the cast. He never loses his cool. He loves the material and he gives everybody space to kind of do what they do.”
