Hitting theaters November 20, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 centers on Katniss Evereen’s (Jennifer Lawrence) final showdown with President Snow (Donald Sutherland). During the press conference to promote the film, Lawrence talked about the impact of The Hunger Games franchise.

“I feel the impact of being a part of such a huge movie that does so much for so many people,” said Lawrence. “It would be impossible not to and I think this character is so overwhelmingly supportive of women obviously . . . I don’t feel a personal (impact) and I think if you become aware of that then it kind of takes away from it a little bit. It’s the movie and the characters, and they kind of have their own life. It’s kind of like your Avatar self (laughs).”
