Thanks to her acclaimed work in 2016’s Lady MacBeth, Florence Pugh has continued to build a solid acting career, and her role in Fighting With My Family should acquit her to a whole new set of movie lovers. But this post isn’t just about Pugh, it’s also about her admiration for WWE superstar Paige.

As evidenced with Lady MacBeth, Outlaw King, and the series The Little Drummer Girl, Pugh is a natural talent. Still, she admits to being “terrified” at the prospect of playing Paige, whom she described as “big and loud and beautiful and powerful.”

“She has changed wrestling,” said Pugh. “She has made anybody that felt different in any way feel okay to be different. I suppose that’s what I learned from her and about her. She was an utter joy to play.”

Fighting With My Family, directed by Stephen Merchant (The Office) and produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), also stars Nick Frost and Lena Headey as Paige’s parents (of course, before she was Paige, she was a Norwich, England girl named Saraya).

Fighting With My Family opens nationwide February 14.
