Jessica Rothe returns to Happy Death Day 2U as Tree Gelbman, the young woman who has a literally repetitive relationship with the Grim Reaper. Horror films aside, Rothe briefly talked about movies she loves (The Princess Bride, The Sound of Music), as well as her binge watching tendencies with Friends, in our latest installment of Flick City!!

Here are Jessica Rothe’s movie picks (with a bit of Friends thrown in). Audio versions are featured after the transcript:

“I love The Princess Bride, that is a movie that no matter how I am feeling I can turn it on and it makes me feel (happy). (It’s the) same with The Sound of Music. That’s a huge comfort movie.

I’ve watched it, I don’t know how many times. Honestly, right now for me it’s binge re-watching all of Friends. It’s on Netflix and when I thought it was going to go off Netflix that was an issue for me because it’s like when I want something that just feels comfortable and homey, it’s Friends.”
