“One of my favorite aspects of the game is meeting  a young Doc Brown,” says Gale, who also served as a producer on the Back to the Future films.  “And seeing Doc Brown trying to figure out science. It’s a lot of fun.”

Back to the Future: The Game: 30th Anniversary Edition also contains updated voice work from Tom Wilson, the actor who played Marty McFly’s nemesis Biff Tannen in the Back to the Future films. The edition also includes a behind the scenes interview with Bob Gale, Wilson, members of the game’s development team, and AJ LoCascio, the voice of the young Marty McFly.

The game, which takes place six months after the events from Back to the Future Part III, has Marty traveling to 1931 to enlist teenager Emmett Brown to save Doc from death. Thus, McFly must, to quote the Huey Lewis And The News go “back in time” once again to help save his mentor.
Back to the Future: The Game – 30th Anniversary Edition is set for digital and at retail in North America starting Tuesday, October 13 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles.
