Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s novel “The Sorrows of Young Werther” is described as a tragic romance, so it will be interesting to see how “Young Werther” puts a romcom spin on things.

Werther (Douglas Booth) is a young writer who, while running an errand in Toronto, falls in love with Charlotte (Alison Pill). Unfortunately she is engaged to another man (Patrick J. Adams). Will Werther woo her and lead to a happily ever after, or will she stay with her lawyer boyfriend?
