The horror feature “Bagman” features Sam Claflin as Patrick McKee, a man scarred by a mythical creature from his childhood. Bagman reportedly snatches children and collects them in his rotting bag, and now the creature has returned to terrorize Patrick’s wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) nand son Jake (Caréll Rhoden). Colm McCarthy directs from John Hulme’s script.
One reason I’m looking forward to Bagman is thanks to Colm McCarthy, the filmmaker behind the underrated 2016 feature “The Girl with All The Gifts.” Lead actor Sam Claflin was seen last year in the series Daisy Jones & The Six and his features include “The Nightingale” and “My Cousin Rachel.” Co-star Antonia Thomas is best known for her work on the TV series “The Good Doctor.”
