Back in 1968, Judy Garland (Renée Zellweger) arrived in london to perform at The Talk of the Town cabaret simply to make ends meet. Though her voice had weekend and her movie days may have been behind her (Garland’s last role was 1963’s I Could Go On Singing), Garland was still determined to keep the proverbial show going.

Finn Wittrock co-stars as her fifth husband Mickey Deans, Rufus Sewell is her third husband Sid Luft, and Jessie Buckley plays her production assistant Rosayln Wilder. Rupert Goold, who helmed the 2015 James Franco and Jonah Hill headlined flick True Story, is the director.
