The Card Counter centers on William Tell (Oscar Isaac), a former military interrogator who leads a spartan life as a gambler. His life takes a drastic turn when he encounters a young man named Cirk (Tye Sheridan) bent on revenge. Befriending Cirk may lead Tell down a dark path that was paved by his own past decisions.
