Wonder Woman clearly established that the titular character, although she is wrapped up in finding her own way into the world of humanity, is even more focused in protecting the lives of others (the “No Man’s Land” sequence gets me every time!). Although Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) may be the mastermind at assembling the band of powerful outsiders together, it’s Wonder Woman who, according to Gadot, is the team’s anchor.

“For me it was really important that she would be the glue of the team,” said Gadot. “That we would track the same character that we victoriously established in the Wonder Woman movie. And I think one of the special things that Diana has – one of the most beautiful qualities are the she just cares for people in the most sincere way.”
