The November episode of CinemAddicts is up, and I believe it’s our longest show ever. I can’t believe the year’s almost over and though this episode is definitely not short and sweet, there’s a ton of stuff to cover!

My Friend Dahmer – CR: FilmRise

On the Groupers end, Anderson has decided to go with a new editor, adding that he’s 95% completed with a rough cut of his movie. I also have done this cockamamie thing by promising to watch “A Movie A Day” until my final breath. Chances of me completing this mission are slim (which I am not) to none, but as of this post I’m five days in and am dead set on completing this cinematic journey.

Speaking of cinema, Anderson waxes poetic on the October release Brawl In Cell Block 99, which is directed by Bone Tomahawk filmmaker. He’s also excited about the November release of The Current War, but further news of the film (it’s a Weinstein release and has a horrible Rotten Tomatoes) has him a bit down.

Christopher Abbott and Jon Bernthal in “Sweet Virginia.”

I also review several November releases ( My Friend Dahmer and Blade of the Immortal opens November 3 –  Sweet Virginia debuts November 17), so overall there’s a ton of movies to cover in this installment!
