Matt Rife has seen his stand-up comic career skyrocket, and his popularity should help the prospects of his latest feature “Trapped Inn.” Rife is a member of an American cycling team that are holed up in a historic lodge in the remote mountains of Europe. Written and directed by Leah Sturgis, “Trapped Inn” is described as a sci-fi, mystery, and thriller! There are hints of possible aliens in the trailer, but my guess is that is not the problem.
Members of the cycling team have died under mysterious circumstances, and Connor (Matt Rife) and Greg (Robert Palmer Walkins) are the alpha males fighting for survival. Rounding out the ensemble are Rickey Eugene Brown and Jalen Moore.
The movie is currently not rated and it has an 80 minute running time. “Trapped Inn” hits Digital on November 22, and we’ll be reviewing this film on CinemAddicts.
